GoPro and Sony continue to push innovations, yet Contour seems to just drop their prices without any real changes. 1080p @ 30fps isn't good enough anymore, especially when they're offering 4k and Sony offers XAVC S2 60p(50 Mbps) on their HDRAS100V/W. I was hoping that Contour would bring out a +3 in time for Christmas, that would bring at least 60fps @1080, and for god's sake image stabilization .
I love the form factor of the Contour, especially the 270* rotation. Also, the weather proofing is top notch, even w/o a case. However, they need to keep up. I know, I know, they just got back to their feet recently, but they'll fall to the netherworld if they just sit on what they already have. They need innovation, and they need now! Before their most loyal followers have to let them go....like me for instance.
